How to Add a Game Room to Your Bar or Restaurant

Whether it’s Pac Man or darts, everyone loves to play games. Adding a game room to your bar or restaurant is a great way to bring in new customers and solidify the loyalty of old ones. However, in order for it to be successful, you need to add a game room the fits your bar or restaurant. Here are some ways to go about it:

Look at your available spaceHow to Add a Game Room to Your Bar or Restaurant

How much space you have will be a big factor in what kinds of games you can add. Pool tables, arcade games, and pinball machines take up a lot of space, so it’s best to use these if you have a separate room available or a large building. Dart boards, however, take up much less space, so these are great to add in if you feel space is limited (you can also try adding in one or two arcade games depending on their size).

Consider your customer base

If you want your customers to play these games, you need to have games they like first. If you have an older crowd, billiards or darts are a good way to go; if you have a younger crowd, then consider more interactive games like air hockey or skee-ball.

Think about your atmosphere

Similar to matching your games to your customer base, you also want to match them to your atmosphere. If you have a quieter atmosphere, then adding in a loud pinball machine won’t be the best idea. Instead, consider dart boards or pool tables. However, if you have a louder atmosphere, then feel free to load up on pinball machines, arcade games, and even a jukebox.
